Benedictine University
Overview
Benedictine University is a Catholic liberal arts school located in Lisle, Illinois. The university offers a variety of certificate, associate, bachelor and master degrees in areas ranging from Business Administration to Project Management to Education. Founded in 1887 as St. Procopius College, the school changed its name in 1971 and today offers a wide range of graduate, doctorate and adult learner programs.

Leadership and communication qualities are emphasized. Students take courses in entrepreneurship as well.
- Master of Education in Leadership and Administration Master of Education in Leadership and Administration This program can be completed in as few as 15 months. The program is designed to help certified teachers make constructive changes in schools.
- Master of Education in Reading and LiteracyMaster of Education in Reading and LiteracyThis program is designed for certified teachers and can be completed in as few as 15 months. Students learn how to design an instructional curriculum that develops and assesses a student's literacy capability while taking into account student challenges.
