Overview
Founded in 1884, Central Christian College (CCC) has been providing quality education from a Christian worldview for more than 125 years from its campus at McPherson, Kansas. This 4-year evangelical Christian college offers more than 20 degree programs in science, business, ministry, and arts, featuring three Bachelor's Degree Completion Degree Programs in Healthcare Administration. The academic process seeks to prepare students to be academically competent, socially responsible, professionally astute, service oriented, and spiritually mature in their faith in Jesus Christ.

Student Appeal
Although there are set assignments, required participation, and even due dates for assignments to maintain a structured education, students need not be in attendance during a set time and are able to log into class at their convenience. They can do all of your work in the morning, at night or any other time you choose, as long as you finish your assignments by the due date.

    The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration's foundation is designed to build a strong administrative foundation built on Christian principles, followed by an in-depth study and application of knowledge and skills focused on healthcare. The BS in HIM is designed to prepare students for a technical career in the health-care field. Concentration coursework addresses information systems and database design, database administration, project management, network systems, privacy and security of patient information and telecommunications.

    The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration's foundation is designed to build a strong administrative foundation built on Christian principles, followed by an in-depth study and application of knowledge and skills focused on healthcare. Designed to teach human resource managers how to effectively lead in a hospital or healthcare setting, the program covers a wide range of human resource responsibilities including interviewing & hiring, compensation & benefits management, the handling of claims, personnel counseling, employee training and performance evaluation, compliance with state and federal regulations, and labor relations and mediation and many others.

    The Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration's foundation is designed to build a strong administrative foundation built on Christian principles, followed by an in-depth study and application of knowledge and skills focused on healthcare. The MPM is designed to prepare students to face the broad range of challenges involved in navigating the issues and opportunities within an organization as well as from an increasingly complex healthcare system. Topics include financial management, third-party contracts, organization and governance, and benefits planning. Students will be better equipped to provide recommendations for operational or infrastructure improvements which will allow medical practices to be better positioned for future success.

    The Bachelor of Business Administration with Concentration in Healthcare Management is built on Christian principles, followed by an in-depth study and application of knowledge and skills focused on healthcare. Coursework is structured to assist students in the development of their goals as they acquire the knowledge and skills common to healthcare professionals working in hospitals, long-term care facilities, insurance companies, managed-care organizations, pharmaceutical companies, or one of the many other healthcare-related industries.

    The goal of the BBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management is to help students excel in their business background while building their understanding of the healthcare industry, including the environment of care, performance improvement, risk assessment and managing diverse workforces in healthcare. The program will help students acquire a strong background in business and ethics in a wide variety of healthcare topics, enabling them to deal with common legal and practical problems facing patients, their families, practitioners, care givers and society within the healthcare industry.
