The classes occupy only four hours a day from Monday to Friday, with 10-15 students per instructor, and are taught in modules--meaning just one topic covered at a time so students are not overwhelmed. The course schedule runs year round and there is often a start date every couple of months. Career Services offer high quality in-person and online employment services for students and alumni, while assisting employers with recruiting by collecting and submitting applications, as well as arranging on-campus interviews.
Financial
Trillium College is open to arranging a flexible payment plan to suit a student's needs. The school has also formed partnerships with several banks for eligible students to borrow money for their education. HRDC or other agency funding for eligible students can pay most or all tuition fees. The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) offers interest-free loans to qualified students free while they are in school. The Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) allows students to withdraw money from their RRSP for themselves, their spouse or common-law partner, as long as they pay it back within 10 years. Scholarships and other Bursaries are occasionally offered by different sources. Second Career is an Ontario government program that offers training for a new job and includes financial support, for which most Trillium College programs are eligible.
